Attack on RSS offices
The attack by congress workers on RSS offices throughout the lengths and breadths of the country should be criticised by the elite who understand the depth and gravity of the statement made by Shri K.C.Sudharshan.There is a school of thought that believes foreign hand behind the assasination of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi and her elder son Shri Rajiv Gandhi and his statement is a mere manifestation of that theory.India is a deomcratic country and freedom of speech is guaranteed by the constitution of India and the ruling party is supressing it.Recently only Shri Rahul Gandhi compared SIMI with RSS expressing his freedom of speech. The congress party is using this as an opportunity to divert the attention from various corruption charges faced by its senior party functionaries ranging from commonwealth to adarsh society housing scam.

US Preidents Visit to India
The visit of US President Barack Obama has been over with nothing much to gain for India.Although US has supported India's stake for the UN Security council but this is something which has already been endorsed by 3 permanent members of the security council and the US support was awaited. The US president has although succeded in taking home 50,000 jobs for his country and investment to the tune of millions of dollars. This is an effort to balance the republican Vs democrat scene back home where his party has been routed in the recent elections. The American economy is in bad shape and his visit should be seem as an attempt to lead his country in tough times. In his speech he has not mentioned the name of Pakistan in any anti-India activity or Mumbai attack. There has not been any assurance for future also.Only BJP has expressed its displeaure of non-mention of Pakistan and outsourcing.

Obama's visit to India
India should not look much in the visit of US President Barack Obama after his statement that he can give no assurance to India on the permanent seat of UN Security Council. This is just going to be another visit with nothing to gain on both sides.US has also not indicated positive on the outsourcing issue.India should however demand more on David Headley's matter and that he be sent to India for a thorough investigation. The decision of the president to stay in the Taj Hotel is a welcome one and will send a strong message behind the Mumbai attack.

Poverty Pension Scheme
The decision of the Uttar Pradesh government to announce the beggining of pension scheme for the poor is a welcome decision but in view of other schemes such as MNAREGA already in motion the announcement was unwarranted for.It is ultimately the tax payer's money which is diverted for such funds. This new scheme would require making of new pass books that would add to the cost of the scheme although the government could have used the account already in place for MNREGA.This tendency of one man up ship between the centre and the state government would not do any good for the common man.The intellactual class should intervene and advice the government and if needed should take the refuge of the court. The government on one hand is divesting its stakes in profit making PSU's to finance welfare scheme's and on the other hand the state government is distributing taxpayer's hard earned money.
Dhorpur Elections
In the village panchayat elections held at Dhorpur Tinka's wife lost the elections and the hopes to get a Pachori elected on the Gram Pradhan were shattered. In my view the results would have been different had a detailed planning preceeded the elections. The last minute decision and unwillingness to contest the elections led to the chaos.
China's Ambitious Plans
It should be seen as a welcome decision of the Noble commitie to bestow upon a Chinese pro-democracy leader the Noble prize for this year.China which has been crushing all demands for a democratic China should realize that the stage has been set,as happened in the case of USSR, that the democratic forces will unite and usher in a new era in the so far supressed China. It may not come as a surprise that China disintegrates into 56 small countries just as in the case of former Soviet Union. The territorial ambitions of China are far and wide and it has forced India to accept that Tibet is an intergral part of China. It continues to stake claim over Arunachal and Tiwan.China's decision to issue stapled visa to Jammu and Kashmir citizens should be seen as an arm twisting exercise. In my view India should also unilaterally anounce the issuance of stapled visa's to the citizen's of Tibet only than China would rethink on its decision which it has taken at the behest of Pakistan.China has made rail lines upto Tibet and which it proposes to extend upto Nepal. It is trying to woo Nepal which has been a friend of India since times immemorial. The rise of Maoist in Nepal is because of active hand of China which had gone unnoticed from the eyes of Indian intelligence agencies.
